Fabric, Stabilizer, and Thread Purchases
All sales are final. This policy applies to both website and in-store purchases.
Patterns, Books, Notions, and Gifts
- Website purchases: All sales are final.
- In-store purchases: No refunds, but exchanges are allowed within 30 days of purchase, provided the item is in its original wrapping.

Classes/Retreats
100% refundable up to 2 weeks before the event date.
General Return Policy
Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition as when you received it, and in the original packaging.
Non-returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned, including:
- Perishable goods such as food, newspapers, or magazines.
- Intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gasses.
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Partial Refunds
In certain situations, only partial refunds are granted:
- Books with obvious signs of use.
- Opened CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records.
- Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts not due to our error.
- Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email about the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank, as there is often processing time before a refund is posted. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at questions@mendedheartsquilting.com .
Sale Items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same item, email us at questions@mendedheartsquilting.com and send your item to: 3212 330th St, Ellsworth, IA 50075.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.
Shipping
To return your product, mail it to: 3212 330th St, Ellsworth, IA 50075. You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
